Euthanasia: Active
Active Euthanasia occurs when a professional, or any other person, intentionaly causes the patient to die by fulfilling their wishes. This form of euthanasia is legal in Turkey, Japan, Mexico, and some places in the US (Due to loopholes in the Laws considering their Rights) only under specific circumstances.
Examples Of Active Euthanasia include:
One of the most famous/infamous people that made a career of Euthanasia was a Pathologist turned 'Hero' to some, and murderer to many. His name was Dr. Jack Kevorkian (A.KA Dr. Death). Kevorkian who had assisted in 130+ suicides felt like he was doing his victims a favor. Kevorkian, like many others, believed that if a person was suffering gravely and was not enjoying their life, they had the right to choose whether or not they wanted to continue living. - Giving a person a lethal injection
- Giving a person cyanide or other types of poisons that are seen to be fatal
- Electrocuting a person to death
